Pressure Testing

We are the only saddlery in the UK to use a Pliance pressure measuring system to check how saddles fit, it measures the pressure under the saddle as the horse is being ridden. This is generally used as a back up where needed and for research into new products.

Using a thin elastic pressure mat containing 224 sensors we can measure the pressure under the saddle as its being ridden. This will give us invaluable information about how the saddle fits and how the rider is sitting and how balanced they are.

We do not use this system routinely for everyday saddle fits but as a tool to diagnose problems. We also do research for companies which are developing new products such as saddles, gel pads and numnahs.
